Peace Day Song "Imagine" John Lennon

Imagine
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today... Aha-ah...
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace... You...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need…

Peace Day Song "We Are The World" Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie

We Are the World
Written By: Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie
  G                        C      D        G
There comes a time when we heed a certain call
         C           D                G
When the world  must come together as one
          Em
There are people dying
              D                      C                          D
And it's time to lend a hand to live, The greatest gift of all
 G            C         D        G
We can't go on pretending day by day
C        D                          G
That someone, somewhere will soon make a change
       Em                   D
We are all a part of God's great big family
        C                               D
And the truth, you know, Love is all we need
Chorus:
           C    D            G
We are the World, we are the children
           C                        D                 G
We are the ones who make a brighter day so lets start giving
          Em                          D
There's a choice we're making,  We're saving our own lives
     C                        D                 G
It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me
G                               C         D       G
Send them your heart so they'll know that someone cares
          C          D               G
And their lives will be stronger and free
   Em                  D
As God has shown us by turning stones to bread
      C                       D
So we all must lend a helping hand
Repeat Chorus:
            Cm                  D                G
When you're down and out, there seems no hope at all
            Cm                   D             G
But if your just believe there's no way we can fall
       Em             D
Let us realize that a change can only come
        C                 D
When we stand together as one

Love Grows
Album:
Track Number:
11
Lyrics:
Carol Johnson (Noeldner Music)
Love grows one by one, two by two
And four by four
Love grows round like a circle
And comes back knockin’ at your front door
Note by note we make a song
Voice by voice we sing it
Choir by choir we fill up the world
With the music that we bring it.
Love grows one by one, two by two
And four by four
Love grows round like a circle
And comes back knockin’ at your front door
So let me take your hand my friend
We’ll each take the hand of another
Hand in hand we’ll reach round the world
To our sisters and our brothers

PEACE DAY Assembly Song " SIMPLE GIFTS"-SEPTEMBER 21, 2016

Simple Gifts
Verse 1
‘Tis the gift to be simple, ‘tis the gift to be free,
‘Tis the gift to come down, where we ought to be,
And when we find ourselves, in the place just right,
Twill be in the valley of love and delight.

Chorus
When true simplicity is gained,
To bow and to bend we shan’t be ashamed,
To turn, turn, will be our delight,
Till by turning, turning, we come round right.

Verse 2
Tis the gift to be gentle, ‘tis the gift to be fair,
‘Tis the gift to wake and breath the morning air.
And every day to walk, in the path we choose,
‘Tis the gift we that hope we will not come to lose.

Chorus
When true simplicity is gained,
To bow and to bend we shan’t be ashamed,
To turn, turn, will be our delight
Till by turning, turning, we come round right.

Verse 3
Tis the gift to be loving, ‘tis the best gift of all.
 Like a quiet rain, it blesses where it falls;
And if we have the gift, we will truly believe,
‘Tis better to give than it is to receive.

 Chorus
When true simplicity is gained,
To bow and to bend we shan’t be ashamed,
To turn, turn, will be our delight
Till by turning, turning, we come round right.

 Chorus
Happy Ending:
Jackie, he got married and had a little babe,
Jackie's daughter, Sophie, went adventuring one day.
Happily she wandered down the misty beach alone,
And passing by a hidden cave, she heard a muffled groan,

Bravely Sophie slipped into the place where Puff did dwell,
The startled dragon spun around and frightened her as well.
Then she saw his lonely eyes and quickly lost her fears.
She kissed the dragon's scaly nose and wiped away his tears.

Chorus.
